You're cutting these on your computer and re-uploading, right? Since ffmpeg can cut video without reencoding, e.g. ffmpeg -ss 00:01:23 -to 00:04:32 -i in.mp4 -c copy out.mp4, someone could write a plugin for OSP that provides a frontend to select clips from an existing video on wtyl.live and then copy them to the user's channel as a new video. This would avoid the download, clip, reupload cycle, bandwidth usage, and video degradation. I searched a bit through Open Streaming Platform but didn't find such a feature. If I'm overlooking something and it's a bad idea please let me know. Might bring it up on the OSP git.

I either use my PC or tablet to cut and encode, it just gives me more more options for transisions etc. I've not tried the clipping tool on osp as I only see the option to do so on videos that I've directly uploaded but I agree that such a plugin as you've mentioned would be very beneficial to the community.
